Our Physio James has recently returned from Moscow where he was the team physiotherapist for GB Climbing
Group photo after Hamish won Bronze in lead

Last week I attended the IFSC World Championships in Moscow, working as the team physiotherapist for the Senior GB Climbing team.

I have been working with a lot of the athletes for some time now but had never previously attended any of the competitions.

The competition included speed, boulder and lead with the GB athletes competing in boulder and lead.

Three GB men made it through to the semi-finals of the boulder comp as well as three men making it to the semi-finals of the lead.

GB athlete Hamish McArthur made it all the way through to the lead finals and took a bronze medal. An amazing achievement for his first senior world champs!

Almost certainly some exiting things to come from this team so keep an eye out on how they get on next season!

James
