- James Walker qualified from Sheffield Hallam University in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. He has since worked in both the NHS and Private Sector gaining experience in all aspects of musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
- Currently a senior Physiotherapist at the White House Physiotherapy Clinic in Sheffield where he sees a mixture of acute, chronic and post operative conditions in people of all ages.
- He attended the IFSC World Climbing Championships 2021 in Moscow and the European Climbing Championships 2022 in Munich as the GB Climbing team physiotherapist
- In 2020 he completed a Post Graduate Certificate (PGCert) at the University of Derby in 'Medical Ultrasound' allowing him to provide diagnostic ultrasound scans at the clinic.
- He has previously had a role as a Upper Limb, Lower Limb and Spinal Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP). A role in which physiotherapists have the extended scope of being able to order MRI scans, X-rays, Ultrasound scans, refer to Orthopaedic Consultants and send patients for joint injections
- He attended the BMC Climbing Injury Symposium in 2016 and 2018
- He regularly provides video consultations to climbers all around the world
- Keen climber for the last 12 years. Boulders up to Font 7C, Sport climbs now and then and finds Trad scary!
